The printing house had delayed the approval of the publication for two days.

“They used all sorts of absurd pretexts and requirements and kept them changing. The printing house was not satisfied with the power of attorney for the financial commissioner, they demanded to specify in the contract details not stipulated by law, could not insert the output data of the printing house, agreed and then refused to deliver," Anna Cherepanova says.

Eventually, the newspaper has been printed in Moscow.

The front page of the newspaper features the slogan "I am for peace" and a text discussing the ongoing war in Ukraine, censorship, and political repressions.

In March 2022, while putting up leaflets advocating for peace, Viktor Shalyakin, the head of the Yabloko branch in Veliky Novgorod, was assaulted by unidentified individuals. The police failed to apprehend the attackers, but they filed a report against Shalyakin for “illegal propaganda.” In April, he was fined 5 thousand rubles ($53) as a result. Two months later, Shalyakin won the appeal and had the penalty revoked.
