The inaugural tour, scheduled for February 9, offers tourists a chance to explore the attractions of Pyongyang and enjoy leisure time at the Masikryong Ski Resort. The Primorsky government has characterized North Korea as "one of the most interesting and mysterious countries."

The 4-day, 3-night trip is priced at $750 for Russian tourists, as detailed on the website of the tour operator 'East Intour.' The package covers expenses such as the entry visa, flights, accommodation in four- and five-star hotels, and the guidance of Russian-speaking tour guides.

The initiative to launch these tours was agreed upon by Primorsky Krai Governor Oleg Kozhemyako during the visit of Kim Jong Un to Russia in September. At that time, Kozhemyako also suggested the idea of sending Russian schoolchildren to North Korean pioneer camps. However, this proposal faced resistance from parents, who 'flooded' the head of the 'Safe Internet League,' Ekaterina Mizulina, with pleas to abandon the project.
