In the first video, "A conversation on studying the Russian phenomenon", presenter Sergei Nugaev, photographer Dmitry Markov, journalist Daniil Turovsky, and rural teacher Artyom Zamaraev are discussing their creative career.

— What Russian, alive, and real is — this is a question that cannot be answered briefly or in theory. But it can be researched. The characters of the upcoming conversation are constantly engaged in such research, inspiring others to new explorations, cases, and questions. Including us. How to connect different things and people, crossing daily routine and dreams. How to connect yourself with something that lies beyond the border for many people, but is reality for most of them. Russia and the way to have a look at life in it, - the authors of the project write.

Kruzhok is a voluntary educational project. Its participants come to different cities and villages in Russia where they conduct free courses for local children and teenagers. They consider it important to bring knowledge to where people usually leave from. The project suspended its planned visits due to the coronavirus pandemic at the end of March.
