Two policemen were shot down in Karachayevsk. Another law enforcer survived and is currently in intensive care. The shooters are being sought, as per Telegram channels Mash, SHOT, and Baza, associated with law enforcement.В 

The attack happened near the Niznny market. The policemen’s firearms – guns and a Kalashnikov – were stolen. 

Investigators initiated a criminal case for attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, and theft of weapons and ammunition. According to the Investigative Committee, there was just one attacker who fired several shots at the police squad of the Karachayevsky department while they were on duty.В 

The republic has introduced the 'Alarm'В plan to intercept the shooter. The Baza Telegram channel published suggested sketches and names of the attackers, Marat B. and Ruslan S. '7x7'В noticed that members of the Karachayevsk chat wrote about an explosion late in the evening preceding the attack.В 

In the spring of 2023, three policemen were shot dead in Ingushetia. A year later, the head of the republic, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, stated that six individuals associated with the attack had been eliminated by special forces.
