The prosecutor's office has requested the removal of Bogdan Dzumendzey from his position in the Inta City Council. The agency conducted an investigation based on a complaint filed by Viktor Vorobyov, the head of the Communist Party faction in the State Council of Komi. The prosecutor's office confirmed that during the 2020 elections, the member of the United Russia party held foreign citizenship.

During that time, the local election commission had requested information from the police regarding Dzumendzey's citizenship. However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs failed to disclose his foreign citizenship, leading to his registration as a candidate unlawfully. In 2021, Oleg Meladze, a councilor from A Just Russia party, demanded the removal of Dzumendzey from his position, but his colleagues in the United Russia faction refused to discuss the issue.

The Inta City Council will address the matter of stripping Dzumendzey of his powers in the upcoming meeting.

In May 2023, Igor Sencha was removed from his position by his colleagues in the Vorkuta City Council. Prior to his removal, images of his Ukrainian residence permit surfaced online. Sencha dismissed the images as fake.
