The video, which discusses the alleged dangers of quadrobing, was recorded by Regina Lapshina, a psychologist at the Center for Information Security established by Surgut State Pedagogical University. According to 7x7 journalists, the video was uploaded to cloud storage on June 7, and links to it have been shared by kindergartens in the region.
"There are destructive groups within the [quadrobing] subculture that promote antisocial or reckless behavior, non-traditional sexual relationships, and gender transition,” Lapshina states in the video.
At least two KhMAO kindergartens, in Surgut and Kogalym, posted the video in June. On October 31, a kindergarten in Tayshet, Irkutsk Oblast, also shared it. The description indicates that the video is intended for parents, not children.
In early October, Tatarstan’s children’s ombudsman, Irina Volynets, called for the recognition of quadrobing as LGBT propaganda. Yana Lantratova, Deputy Chair of the State Duma’s Education Committee, announced the development of a bill to ban quadrobing.
