Flowers and photos of Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitri Utkin were laid outside Wagner’s Novosibirsk office. A large impromptu memorial was formed near the Wagner Center in St. Petersburg. A crowd of young people with Wagner insignia and faces covered with masks gathered outside the building. They declared to have other commanders to lead them and promised not to organize rallies.

Flowers in memory of Prigozhin were brought to the Wagner office in Yekaterinburg. A makeshift memorial appeared near the Rostov circus, where a tank got stuck in the gates during the mutiny two months ago. Pictures of Prigozhin and Utkin appeared at the Belgorod monument to the fallen in local wars.

A business jet registered to Yevgeny Prigozhin's company crashed in the Tver region on August 23. Rosaviatsia confirmed that Yevgeny Prigozhin was on board the crashed plane, along with Dmitry Utkin, the founder of Wagner PMC. The remains of the victims have been delivered to Tver for forensic examination. Among them is Prigozhin's body, as one of the forensic bureau employees has told journalists. There is no information yet on whether the remains have been identified.
